About Nick Hayhurst - Director
Nick has been a resident of St Albans for over 20 years. He went to school in Old Welwyn and then St Albans and subsequently moved to Nottingham to take an HND in Building Studies and onto an Advanced Polytechnic Diploma in Building Management at what was then called Trent Polytechnic.
He is an Incorporated Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders (ICIOB)
Nick went onto work for his Father’s company, Court Homes est. 1969, a highly regarded local residential development company based in Welwyn and Hitchin. For over 10 years he played an integral role in the planning and development of residential sites and headed the construction team, gaining invaluable experience in all aspects of the industry.
In 2004 he moved on to establish his own company, Bloomsbury Homes, with the intention of emulating his Father’s success and beliefs in providing a quality product through good design and high specifications to ultimately ensure strong customer satisfaction. To this end he has successfully completed a variety of residential projects over the past 8 years and continues to carry this on.
Over the past four years Nick has also applied his knowledge to carry out work directly for clients on projects ranging from extensions and refurbishments to larger bespoke houses. This has proven to be a success as the standards, quality, experience and advice he is able to bring to projects has been much appreciated by his clients.
